Bug Infestation!

The Bee-Bots took over our classroom today!

Computer Programming has begun in the Pukeko classroom and this afternoon we had a fantastic time learning all about the things we can tell our Bee-Bots to do.  

Over the coming weeks these fun Bee-Bots will help us to do Mathematics, Spelling and assist with our Reading......and all the while we are becoming young computer programmers!

The Pukeko classroom were very fortunate to take part in the New Zealand Fire Service Get Firewise programme.  

Four fire fighters from the Silverdale Fire Station came to school in their big red fire engine to teach us about fire safety.  

We were treated to the opportunity to look over the fire engine as well as the chance to pretend to be real fire fighters by turning on the hose!
