To the dump, to the dump, to the dump, dump, dump!

Last term our Social Science Topic was Climate Change.  We explored the subject of Environmental Conservation and specifically looked at learning 'Where doess our Rubbish Go?' Today we were fortunate to take a trip to the Silverdale Transfer Station to help us answer this question.  We discovered that when the rubbish leaves our house it goes to  the transfer station where it is sorted.  Anything that can't be Reused or Recycled is sent away to become land fill.
Thank you to the Silverdale Transfer Station for hosting us today.
We will certainly NEVER forget the things we saw or the aroma of the tip!

Yes it was SMELLY!

Did you know that we all weighed 1210kgs!

What has Franny been up to? Have a look Churchtown Primary!

Franny has been super busy this week!
Franny has been swimming, doing homework and jumping on a trampoline!
Check out what Franny has been up to!

Run, run as fast as you can! You can't catch me....I'm a Fantail!

Our annual cross-country race was held on Friday 2nd of September.

The Fantails were fabulous, 'flying' around the course with smiles on their faces.

It was a long run and you all completed it - well done Fantails!
