Wishing you a happy and safe holiday season!

Our last day of school crept up and was certainly here before we were ready.

We had a wonderful final week of school and were especially lucky to spend the last few days having athletics fun with the College and making some gorgeous Christmas crafts.
Have a look at us busy at work!

It has been my privilege sharing the classroom with each Fantail this year.

Merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all at school in the New Year!

More excellent adventures for Franny

Franny had a fabulous last week of school and was certainly making the most of the busy end of the school year.
Have a look at the fun Franny had!

Franny is watching me doing math.
We went skiing and met Santa!

We like playing music.
Happy hour!  I'm a bird feeder :-)

Franny has been so busy - she must be exhausted!

Check out Franny's adventures this week - she has been to a soccer game, athletics day and she has even been playing with a cat!

Watch out for that cat Franny!
I went to after school care with Franny. It was fun.  Me and Franny went to the park.

Franny watched a movie and the moved was Arthur Christmas and then she was so tired she went for a nap with my cat Louie.

Franny came to Athletics Day.  She was very good at the high jump.  I made Franny a nest for when she gets tired.

On Monday Franny came to watch me play football.  I was awesome and was the player of the day.

More for you Churchtown Primary School!

Franny had a fabulous time out and about with one of our Fantails recently! Franny even went to a Halloween birthday part!
See what she has been up to!

Franny and me saw the sea.

Franny made a cake with me.

Franny and me walked the dogs.

Franny came to my party!

Franny had fun.

Franny helped make my bed.

Germination!

Our Science topic for Term 4 is 'Plants and Living Things'.

We have been dutifully caring for sunflower seeds and we have investigated the conditions that seeds need to successfully grow.

We created a human collage of a plant and we are learning to name the parts of the plant by labelling our collage.

We can also explain the 'germination process'.

Happy Halloween from the Fantail classroom!

Wishing you all a safe and Happy Halloween from the Fantail class!

We are Myth Busters!

Our recent trip to MOTAT (Museum Of Transport and Technology) provided us with the opportunity to explore and build on our knowledge of the Scientific Method.

We ascertained what our scientific question was.
We generated a hypothesis and then followed a method to test our theory.
Finally, we shared our observations with our friends and came to a conclusion.

WOW - we really are Scientific Myth Busters!

Have a look at the fun we had at MOTAT......
