Primary-College Athletics Fun Day

Races Galore - egg and spoon, sack, balloon - you name it we had it at our Annual Primary-College Athletics Day!
This day is an excellent opportunity to consolidate the relationship between the Primary and the College children, and it is always a lot of FUN!

Look at what we did.........

The 'halves' have it!

We are learning to find halves and quarters of different objects and shapes.

This proved to be a little tricky until................we had to halve a BISCUIT!

We will ROCK you!

Our Science topic this term has been Rocks.

We have learned that there are three main types of rock, Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic!

With gravel, sand, water, sugar and dead ants (yes you did read correctly!) we made our very own SEDIMENTARY rock!

Halloween!

Some of our Pukeko class were going to hit the streets to 'trick or treat' this Halloween so we decided to make masks to wear.

See if you can guess who is hiding under each mask!

Technology Day was Ka Pai!

Technology Day had a very local flavour this term!

Following on from our successful visit to the Auckland Museum, we shared our new knowledge during our Maori Technology Day.

Each class had the opportunity to take part in Poi making, weaving and Te Rakau (stick) games.

Check out the fun we had!
